The Aisle

As it may seem or how and what I've always said that I will and won't walk down the aisle that early or may not even be walking down that path at all!

                       Truth is.....

I really do want to have my dream wedding..with the perfect wedding gown walking down the aisle surrounded by my friends and family..in a beautifully decorated garden by the beach accompanied by the sound of waves...ahhh...Bliss...

The thoughts of marriage has been popping up oh so often right now especially when people I know..my friends especially have and are going down that road of *wedding bells* so much so that I actually envy them!

I've always enjoyed looking at other's wedding albums, videos of their wedding pictures etc. While at it, I'll be wondering to myself..when am I going to experience the same thing? And how will I look like in my wedding dress? Once my brother randomly asked me.."Che, how are you going to fit into all the wedding gowns since you're so short?" LOL! That was way too random I didn't even know how to reply him as I really hadn't expect that question from him.

It's true that the time is coming up real soon..I mean..I'm no longer 18 years old when I could still tell people that I'm still too young to get married! The ideal age is cutting close!! When I was younger, I would tell others that the ideal age that I WANT to get married is at 26years; and when I was 21, I told them that the age I wanna get married is at 28. More often than not I KEEP FORGETTING HOW OLD I AM NOW!!! It's only another 3 years time to the number TWENTY EIGHT!

sighhh.....

YM Brags : Kalamazoo (re-visit) & My Honeymoon Dessert

okay..I'm not any food blogger so you gotta pardon me for my lack of knowledge in blogging about food with my lousy vocabs and English language >.<

Here goes another entry on food :P Two Thursdays ago, I had a catch up date with my uni mates. Brilliant me suggested Kalamazoo again! (don't ask me why ><) Well, part of the reason being my friends didn't know where to go and I figured could use the introduction of a new place?

There were 4 of us and one decided to go vegan couple of months back. Poor dude had nothing much to order on the menu except for salad...hence, this is what he had:

Egg Salad
While I had the Beef Meatloaf on my last visit, I decided to try something new this time...the..
Beef Stew

Princess decided to try the Beef Meatloaf (but it wasn't consistent with my last visit..there's only 2 slices and I had 3 the last time! the chef was not that generous with the gravy this time around too)

And my Loumachi tried the Kalamazoo Pork Loin with Pineapple Chutney. She didn't really like it as she said the pork tasted like those pork meat that was boiled in the soup which was dry and stiff @.@

We finished our meal and adjourned to Kota Damansara for a drink and chat..initially we wanted to go Wong Kok in Sunway Giza but we didn't like the environment, so we walked to Snowflake and saw that it had long queue and we settled for My Honeymoon Dessert (which is 2 doors from Snowflake)

Their menu is extensive and not to mention..pretty pricey too! In the end, we decided to go with the following~:

 My Honeymoon Sweetheart
(this has sweet potato with a taste of ginger topped with chocolate ice-cream, glutinous balls, chocolate chips, red bean and peanut)

The Vegan Dude ordered:

Kiwi Tau Fu Fah
(he sort of expected a cold one but it came hot and it tasted...weird...)

Loumachi wanted the Durian Ice but they claimed the ice pack was too soft for them to grind them..instead Loumachi opted for the Mango Ice (it had only a slight tinge of mango flavor)

Finally Princess's order came! We had a lot of trouble getting the order right to the waiter >< She had the Chocolate Ice with additional toppings of nata de coco, mango and sago balls (i know..it looks really disgusting right? LoL~ it tasted bad too! the chocolate ice was too potent and bitter and it melted wayyyy to fast and ended up looking really awful >.<)

It was a fruitful catch up despite the lousy dinner (sort of) and dessert. =)
Till then~~ :))

YM Brags : Kalamazoo @ Aman Suria

It's a Tuesday morning...kinda gloomy..not too hot not too cloudy..with nothing much to do at work (this has been the case for the past 4 months!) so, I've decided to rant about food! XD

Few weeks ago when kibs and I had no idea on what to have for dinner (which happens ever so often), I suggested that we try out a new place (not really that new actually, been around for the past 5-6 months) near our place at Aman Suria. So we drove there, got to the place and being the blur me I actually hadn't a clue which was the exact shop that I wanted to try! :P Anyways, we parked the car, got down and went to take a look at Kalamazoo (which was right in front of where we parked the car) The waitress was really friendly and welcoming and was telling us about the cafe/restaurant's best seller and the thing that caught us was that the food is NOT TOO EXPENSIVE and the PORTION is BIG! So, ogayz..why not give it a go?

Here's what we had...

                                      Chilli Cheese Fries (RM5.90)
(it's not spicy & as the waitress said, it's American Chilli so it's not spicy)

kibs had the Kalamazoo Pork Ribs (RM21.90)
four slabs of ribs..not too tender in my opinion but it was AOK~

I had the Beef Meatloaf (RM13.90)
this is good~ the meatloaf was soft and juicy with the gravy that accompanied it made it a pow wow dish! not forgetting the mashed potato was great too! it's the original mashed that was done the way I like *happy* :)

We had the American Moist for dessert (RM5.90)
the cake is really moist alright with chocolate oozing from the center is the YUMZ~! :)

By the end of the meal, we were stuffed! Dinner was good even though it's just a small little cafe not known to many~ Remember not to judge a book by its cover! :)

My verdict:-
Food? - 4/5
Ambiance? - 3/5 (it's a wee bit empty hence making it rather echo-y but still a nice place to sit and relax)
Price? - 3/5

Again...

With a blink of an eye, another year have passed. Kinda fast don't you think?
Friends have told me that blogging is a way to express yourself when you can't express it verbally. I used to write a journal..but then left the habit long time ago...think it's a good time to start a blog to share my thoughts? LoL~

I used to think also that I'm already soooooo wayyyyyy outdated! People have started blogging dinosaurs years ago and I'm only doing it now...2011...another year til the apocalypse 2012...hmm..do you really think the year 2012 is really the end of the world? To me..I think I've watched too much movie in which they've influenced me in every way. With all the natural disasters happening around the world...it's hard not to think otherwise...like my cousin posted previously that God's GPS has gone haywire...but I do hope the hearsay is not true...*fingers crossed*

It's a Monday night..a working day tomorrow...til then..CHEERS~ :)

Have you ever wondered what clouds really feel like? Cotton candy? hahaha
