It's a Tuesday morning...kinda gloomy..not too hot not too cloudy..with nothing much to do at work (this has been the case for the past 4 months!) so, I've decided to rant about food! XD
Few weeks ago when kibs and I had no idea on what to have for dinner (which happens ever so often), I suggested that we try out a new place (not really that new actually, been around for the past 5-6 months) near our place at Aman Suria. So we drove there, got to the place and being the blur me I actually hadn't a clue which was the exact shop that I wanted to try! :P Anyways, we parked the car, got down and went to take a look at Kalamazoo (which was right in front of where we parked the car) The waitress was really friendly and welcoming and was telling us about the cafe/restaurant's best seller and the thing that caught us was that the food is NOT TOO EXPENSIVE and the PORTION is BIG! So, ogayz..why not give it a go?
Here's what we had...
Chilli Cheese Fries (RM5.90)
(it's not spicy & as the waitress said, it's American Chilli so it's not spicy)
kibs had the Kalamazoo Pork Ribs (RM21.90)
four slabs of ribs..not too tender in my opinion but it was AOK~
I had the Beef Meatloaf (RM13.90)
this is good~ the meatloaf was soft and juicy with the gravy that accompanied it made it a pow wow dish! not forgetting the mashed potato was great too! it's the original mashed that was done the way I like *happy* :)
We had the American Moist for dessert (RM5.90)
the cake is really moist alright with chocolate oozing from the center is the YUMZ~! :)
By the end of the meal, we were stuffed! Dinner was good even though it's just a small little cafe not known to many~ Remember not to judge a book by its cover! :)
My verdict:-
Food? - 4/5
Ambiance? - 3/5 (it's a wee bit empty hence making it rather echo-y but still a nice place to sit and relax)
Price? - 3/5
